The Bathrobed Bearers are a group of cultists bearing a mystical box. The box is painted purple in parts and decorated with gold. Candles rest upon the box's lid alongside a human skull. Unprovoked supplementary cultists will hide their hands within the confines of their red robes, and their skin is a pale green.
Behavior[]
When provoked, the cultists will attempt to stuff the Player into the box, in which a mouthy demon lies. The 2 cultists which hold the box will move directly at the Player, and any additional cultists will attempt to flank the Player, attacking from the sides or from behind. The cultists which bear the box are the main threat, the supplementary cultists are just meant to herd the Player towards the box, so that the demon may feed, and are armed only with their demonic mouth-hands.

Variants[]
Each variant comprises of 2 different entites, the box bearers and their supplementary cohorts. The box bearers, despite appearing to be 2 seperate cultists and a box with a demon in it, share a single healthpool. The supplementary cohorts have individual heath.
Bathrobed Bearers[]
Just your average everyday squad of box-wielding cultists, clad in red robes. Their ranks contain 2 supplementary cultists and 1 set of Box Bearers.
Box Bearers[]
Upon the death of the Box Bearers, the box will fall to the ground and the demon inside will express that it is not angry, just disappointed in the cultists' shortcomings, by screaming and then exploding.
Box bearers will take 2x damage from all sources if all supplementary cultists are dead.

Supplementary Cultists[]
Will turn to smoke when the Box Bearer falls, effectively killing themselves. Can be killed beforehand as well.

Cloaked Carriers[]
There are now 4 supplementary cultists, and when the box carriers die, the demon will vacuum in everything in a radius and then explode. The cultists wear blue robes.
Box Bearers[]
The demon may poke out occasionally, shooting a fire projectile. Will still take 2x damage after all the supplementary cultists have died.

Enshrouded Envoy[]
When its carriers die, the box-bound demon will now take matters into its own hands, becoming a new relentless foe. It cannot be killed in this state. There are now 6 supplementary cultists, and they wear black robes.
Box Bearers[]
Will take 2x damage when all the supplementary cultists have died. Shoots projectiles in this form, but does not when the Box Bearers die.
