The Fountain of Ills is a fountain-type enemy, spawning somewhere inconsequential and creating a large area of deadly slime. It will slowly expand its ring of decay and disease and its spawning algorithm means that it will block the exit within 3 minutes in a worst case scenario. Like all fountains it is inpervious to most physical attacks.
It appears to be a rotten, one-eyed corpse laid on the floor with several flies and fungi eating away at it. It exists simply to rush the player, and punish those who spend too long on a level.
